Board Statement: Memorabilia

The FSSB board has been asked to make enquiries with a view to locating a particular item of memorabilia that was loaned to the club some years ago and now appears to be missing. 

In connection with this, and with the support of the benefactor side of The Bury Football Club Company Limited, the FSSB board intends to undertake an investigation into the whereabouts of any other memorabilia that is believed to be missing. 

As the initial stage of this process contact has been made with the former administrator of Bury Football Club, Steven Wiseglass of Inquesta, with a view to ascertaining what steps were taken to identify and safeguard any items of memorabilia following the commencement of the period of administration in November 2020.  

Steven Wiseglass has responded to the effect that he does not intend to engage with this process and the FSSB board is considering the next steps in view of that response.

We would ask that members and supporters do not engage in online speculation regarding the possible whereabouts of any memorabilia as this could hinder the progress of the investigation.
